Actor Matthew Perry Dies at Age 54
According to NBC News, a law enforcement source and Matthew Perry's agent have confirmed that the actor passed away on Saturday at his Pacific Palisades home after what appears to have been a drowning.
Matthew Perrry was 54 Years Old.
A law enforcement source stated that a 911 call was received at 4:07 p.m. local time and was handled as a water rescue.
According to TMZ, their sources say he was found in a jacuzzi at the home ... and TMZ was told there were no drugs found at the scene. Also told there is no foul play involved.
The actor was known for playing Chandler Bing on the hit ensemble sitcom "Friends," which ran from 1994 to 2004.
Perry co-created and acted in the sitcom "Mr. Sunshine" in addition to appearing in the television series "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." The motion pictures "Fools Rush In," "Almost Heroes," and "17 Again" were part of his
filmography.
