PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Police are urgently asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12‑year‑old Aiyana Checo, who did not return home Friday night and remains missing as of Saturday afternoon.

According to the Pennsauken Township Police Department, Aiyana was last seen at approximately 8:00 PM on Friday, September 4, 2026, and her current whereabouts are unknown. Investigators say she may possibly be in the area of Westfield Gardens, but no confirmed sightings have been reported.

Aiyana’s disappearance is being handled under Case #26‑057546.

Police have not yet released a detailed physical description or clothing information beyond the time she was last seen. Authorities are continuing to gather information and encourage residents to report anything that may help locate her.
