Monmouth County Homicide: Husband Arrested for Wife’s Death

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's office has charged an Ocean Township man with killing his wife.

According to a representative for Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago, Michael A. Kless, 67, was charged with murder and weapons crimes on Wednesday.

Stacy Epstein-Kless was his spouse. On Wednesday, police began investigating her death.

The couple lives on Seward Drive in Ocean Township, and according to sources there was a large police presence outside their home Wednesday.

Manicured lawns, tidy driveways, and properties priced in the upper six figures can be found on Seward Drive, a peaceful, meandering lane.

Warm grins and warm waves are prevalent, as are strolling neighbors, many of whom are carrying little children or carrying baby strollers.

The scene discovered on Wednesday on Seward Drive, a short distance from Bowne Road, where Stacy Epstein-Kless was brutally murdered just hours before, is not typical. The county prosecutor's spokesperson stated that while he is unable to provide any further information at this time, he will provide more information in the future.
