Halloween and trick-or-treating had a strange year last year. No one was immunized, and covid levels plummeted. The level of uncertainty was far higher back then than it is now. However, we believe that this year's Halloween will reach, if not exceed, its pre-pandemic high.
Halloween candy spending is expected to reach $3 billion this year, according to the National Retail Federation. That's a 20% increase from last year and a 10% increase from the previous all-time record. That's a significant achievement.
