Renters and homeowners have until today, Tuesday, February 28 to submit their ANCHOR tax relief program applications.
Earlier this month, Murphy made the application extension announcement during his State of the State speech.
Owners and renters who occupied their principal dwellings on October 1, 2019, are eligible for the program. Applicants must file income taxes in New Jersey or qualify for an exemption in order to qualify.
Homeowner applications are accessible online, over the phone, or on a paper form that can be downloaded online and returned by mail. Tenants can submit their applications online or by downloading them from the website and mailing them back. There is no phone option for renters.
