NJ Resident Arrested for Inappropriate Online Conversations with Minor

According to Monmouth County Prosecutors Office, authorities said that a 14-year-old from Monmouth County and a Gloucester County man had online sexually explicit chats that resulted in the man's incarceration.

The charge against West Deptford resident Jeremy M. Slickerman, 33, is third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

According to detectives, Slickerman had been corresponding with the victim using a number of internet chat services, such as Chat IB, Skype, Xbox Live, and Discord.

On Friday, March 15, members of MCPO discovered and apprehended Slickerman at his residence without any problems, with help from the West Deptford Police Department and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office Search Warrant Entry Team.

Slickerman used the usernames "Tcencho" on the other aforementioned internet platforms and "Blue Jay" on Chat IB. This news release is being distributed in conjunction with a picture of Slickerman. Detective Janine Kennedy of the Middletown Police Department at 732-615-2100 or MCPO Detective Dylan Lovgren at 800-533-7443 are the numbers to call if you have any information regarding his whereabouts.

This case has been assigned to Assistant Prosecutor Kristen Anastos. Information about Slickerman’s legal representation was not immediately available.
