State Police Seeking Public's Assistance with Theft

NJ State Police Seeking Assistance

According to the New Jersey State Police, they are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect who allegedly stole catalytic converters at multiple locations in Upper Township located in Cape May County and Somers Point and Northfield located in Atlantic County.

On November 6, 2023, at approximately 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., an unknown suspect was captured on video surveillance removing catalytic converters from numerous vehicles before fleeing the scene. The suspect was believed to be driving a white BMW SUV with an unknown license plate.

Anyone with information about these incidents or who may have been a victim is asked to contact Troop “A” Woodbine Station Criminal Investigation Office at 609-861-5698. Anonymous tips are welcome.
