MISSING JUVENILE NO LONGER IN CUSTODY This morning the Hazlet Township Police Department was contacted by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in Florida regarding the location of Damien Thompson. Damien was found alive and well and transferred to a Youth Crisis Facility in Jacksonville, FL until arrangements could be made for his safe return home.

May 26, 1976 ~ December 19, 2023 (age 47)

Erin C. Ryan, 47, of Seaside Park, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.

Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Seaside Park.

Erin was a 1994 graduate of Monsignor Donovan High School, Toms River, and received her Associate’s Degree from Mercer County Community College.

Founded in 1984 by her late father, Timothy E. Ryan, Erin worked for the family business, the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, for many years until his passing in 2019, at which time she became owner and operated the business with her aunts. She was very proud to continue the family business.

Erin was a parishioner of St. Catharine of Siena RC Church, Seaside Park, was a trustee for the Ocean County St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, was a member of the Woman of the Moose, Ortley Beach, the Rosary Society of St. Pio of Pietrelcina and served on the Valentine House Committee.

She was predeceased by her father Timothy E. Ryan in 2019, her paternal grandparents Edward and Norma Ryan, maternal grandparents Carolyn and Jack O’Donnell, and her three uncles Edward Ryan, David O’Donnell and Jackie O’Donnell.

Erin is survived by her mother Regina O’Donnell of Milford, DE, her three aunts Mary Ryan of Lavallette, NJ and her fiancé Dave Donatiello of Bayville, NJ, Alice Ryan and her husband Jerry of Brick, NJ, Kathleen Kelsh and her husband James of Audubon, PA, and her dear friend Paul Ando of Toms River.

She is also survived by her cousins Richard Groody, Amy Basilotto, Krystle Maver, Megan Kelsh, Norma Santangelo and their children.

TIME: 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 9:00pm
LOCATION: Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals
145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.

  • A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Catharine of Siena RC Church, Seaside Park, NJ.

  • Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
