Obituary of Chelsea Diehl 14, of Lanoka Harbor

February 19, 2010 - March 3, 2024

According to Riggs Funeral Home, Chelsea Diehl, 14, of Lanoka Harbor passed away on March 3, 2024. Chelsea was a honor roll student at Lacey Township Middle School and an athlete for Pride Elite Competitive Cheer. She loved cheerleading, ice skating and soccer. She was a kind hearted soul with a beautiful smile. Chelsea radiated an energy that touched the lives of all those around her.

Predeceased by her grandparents, John Diehl, June Thackston and Judith James, her uncle John Diehl, Jr. and great-grandparents Cecil and Edith Knox. She is survived by her mother and father, Lynn Conklin and Brian Diehl, grandparents Louis and Pat Conklin, “bonus grandparents” Carlos and Jan Arias, aunts and uncles Scott and Jamie Frederiksen, Julie Rood, Belinda Cimino, Mike and Diane Conklin, Chris Conklin, Scott Conklin along with many cousins and friends.

Visitation

DATE: Sunday, March 10th, 2024
TIME: 2:00-5:00 pm
With a wake service at 4:30 pm at Riggs Funeral Home

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Monday, March 11th at 11:00 am
St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 300 Lacey Road, Forked River.

The burial will be private.

In support of adolescent suicide prevention, the family asks that you donate to Chelsea’s GoFundMe. The proceeds will be used to fund the Celebration of Chelsea Diehl Scholarship Fund which will be available this summer for students in the Lacey Township School District.
