Pizza lovers will be able to try all of the pies available on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. Guy Madsen of South Seaside Park organized the event, which he began last year by forming Jersey Pizza Joints, a 40,000-member Facebook group, to aid local businesses during the pandemic.

DETAILS ABOUT THE CRAWL

Guests can purchase tickets for $30 at eventbrite.com;
$5 of each ticket will be donated to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which builds homes for injured veterans and first responders.

The crawl will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 11, starting at Shore Slice Pizza at Carteret Avenue and the boardwalk.

Participants will receive a wristband that entitles them to eight half-slices of pizza at various pizzerias, a bottle of water, and drink specials at boardwalk bars.

Live entertainment from Aloha Monkey and emcee RoRo Antonuccio will take place at the Franklin Avenue stage, followed by a pizza-eating contest.
