Plentiful Plates of Ocean County

Plentiful Plates of Ocean County, NJ

GoFundMe Fundraiser by Kaitlin Meyer

Hi, my name is Kaitlin Meyer and I’m fundraising for Plentiful Plates of Ocean County. I am a first-year pharmacy student and I recently started as a volunteer at Plentiful Plates.

On March 22, 2022, the Parish Center at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, where Plentiful Plates prepped and prepared their meals, was damaged by fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt and the Parishioners of the Christ Episcopal Church in Toms River have invited Plentiful Plates to use their kitchen.

Unfortunately, everything that Plentiful Plates owned was destroyed in the fire and their ministry needs help with donations. Plentiful Plates of Ocean County meets every Wednesday to prepare and package Chef made meals for those in Ocean County suffering from food insecurities. Their volunteers deliver the meals to local food pantries, hotels and The Helping Hands Student Pantry at Ocean County College.

We appreciate any support you can give so that they can continue to provide for our in-need friends in the community.
