According to Stafford Township Police Department they have responded to a potential threat at Southern Regional High School

At approximately 11:35am today, the Stafford Township Police Department received notification from the New Jersey State Police regarding a potential bomb threat at Southern Regional High School.

In collaboration with the Southern Regional School District Administration, the Stafford Police Department promptly initiated an investigation into the reported threat.

Following a thorough assessment, it has been determined that the threat was unsubstantiated. As such, there is no immediate danger posed to staff or students.

While the source of the threat remains under investigation, the Southern Regional School District will continue its day as scheduled, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals within the school community.

The Stafford Township Police Department remains committed to upholding the safety and security of our schools and community members.
