Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in NJ Amid Potential Record-Breaking Temperatures
According to the most recent forecast, New Jersey will see a significant warm-up this week, along with rain, thunderstorms, and possibly record-breaking high temperatures. As a warm front climbs northward across the region, there will be a warming trend through the middle of the week, but clouds and sporadic showers will follow the front, according to
National Weather Service forecasters on Monday morning.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, there will be rain. There is a potential of thunderstorms on Wednesday, which will be the warmest day.
There will be storms and showers on Wednesday night due to a cold front. Temperatures will then drop, according to forecasters.
Fortunately, the prognosis indicates that it won't continue very long. According to National Weather Service forecasters, temperatures will barely drop to the mid to upper 60s or low 70s on Thursday before rising to widespread 70s on Friday through Sunday.
However, forecasters don't have much faith in that. Clouds and lower temperatures could result from the cold front stalling over the region.
Forecasters predicted that unsettling circumstances will persist into the weekend until a cold front moved in on Sunday or Sunday night. Check the upcoming
forecast.
