Gabriella Hillgrube 33, of Forked River passed away on July 13, 2026. Gabriella was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister and beloved friend. Gabriella never failed to make everyone in the room laugh with her humor and contagious energy . Above all else, she found her greatest joy in her family. As a wife, she was a source of unwavering love, strength, and partnership. As a mother, she gave her children unconditional love, endless encouragement, and the kind of warmth that made every place feel like a home. As a daughter, she was a source of pride and love, always showing deep appreciation for her parents through her kindness, respect, and unwavering bond with each of them. As a sister, she was a confidant, best friend, a constant source of laughter, and someone who always could be counted on through life’s joys and challenges.
She had a beautiful spirit and an incredible determination. At the time of her passing, she was pursuing her passion for sonography. She spent endless hours studying at the creek, while balancing giving her two babies the best life imaginable.
Gabriella was a competitive dancer for 18 years. She loved living life on the edge sailing, dirt bike riding at the Jasper farm, snowboarding, and cooking with her family. Gabriella had spent a-lot of time with her nanny whom she lived with, and they loved to go shopping together. Her perseverance and commitment reflected in everything she did.
When she found a moment away from the books, her happiest place was out on the boat with her family. She found peace on the water, the beauty of the nature, and the company of the people she loved most.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her resilience, her beautiful smile, and the love she poured into everyone fortunate enough for know her. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made on her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched will remain forever.
She leaves behind a family who loved her beyond words and who will carry her memory in their hearts everyday. While we mourn the incredible loss of her presence, we will also celebrate a life filled with love, determination, compassion, and unforgettable memories.
It is with heavy hearts that we also announce the passing of 2-year-old Giuliana. She was a perfect, precious little girl whose beautiful smile and joyful spirit brought light to everyone around her. Giuliana loved swimming, coloring, and, most of all, spending time with her beloved big brother, GJ, whom she adored. Though her life was far too short, she filled every moment with love, laughter, and happiness. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
May they both rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the calm waters they loved so dearly, reunited with their father and grandfather. They will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten. Their memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved them.
Gabriella and Giuliana are survived by her husband (father) Tyler, her son Gabriel James (GJ), her mother Michele, her brother Philip, her mother-in-law and Guiliana’s grandmother Christi Poteat, her Grandpop James Smith, aunt Jordin and uncle Jacob Venditti, and aunt Madison Hillgrube, she is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 24, 2026, at 10:30am at St. Luke’s Romans Catholic Church.
