According to Keyport Police Department, yesterday at around 6 o'clock, the Keyport Police Department was informed that a kayaker who had gone fishing off of Keyport had vanished. Along with the kayak, personal possessions were discovered in Keyport close to Walnut Street.
In the search for Zhenjing Ding, 74, the Coast Guard is collaborating with regional law enforcement from New York and New Jersey.
Ding is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 140 to 160 pounds. Anyone with information about Ding should call the Coast Guard at 718-354-4353.
