Although entry is free, you need a receipt for the day to display on your dash.

Free entry is to park in a parking lot and walk onto the beach.

To drive on the beach for fishing you must have a Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle permit. 3-day permits are currently available for use Mondays through Thursdays, except holidays, and may be purchased at the gate.
