Toms River locals are coping with snow for the second time this week. It did, however, leave a winter wonderland in the township this time.
There was enough snow to plow and for the Toms River Regional School District to declare a snow day for the kids to enjoy!
The snow began falling between midnight and 1 a.m., as predicted by the forecasters, and unlike Monday, when the snow never really materialized in a substantial way in Toms River, the estimate for 3 to 6 inches of snow in Ocean County was accurate.
