Most of New Jersey can anticipate 1 to 3 inches of snow starting late Monday into Tuesday. Widespread snowfall quantities of 2 to 3 inches are expected for the northern part of the state, while most of southern New Jersey should get 1 to 2 inches, according to the National Weather Service’s initial forecast map for the storm issued early Sunday.
It is anticipated that the storm system would make landfall in southern New Jersey late on Monday and proceed northward through the area during the night. Tuesday is expected to see snow showers all day long.
