East High School Tyler Sinou, a Class of 2015 graduate, returned to Intermediate East, his middle school alma mater, on Friday, but this was a more meaningful return than most.

According to Toms River Regional Schools Tyler returned home from deployment at the Ukrainian-Polish border, as well as to surprise his sister, Payton, who is about to graduate from eighth grade. Payton was overcome with emotion at learning of her brother's return, and the staff at Intermediate East, including school nurse Lisa Butler, who assisted with the visit, was able to capture the moment in a photograph.
