Syringes and Medical waste are washing up on the Jersey Shore

According to Caryn Shinske a Public Information Officer at New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection syringes and medical waste has reportedly washed up on shore.


The areas that are affected in Ocean County were shut down by the state's Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), including beaches from the Normandy Beach section of Brick Township south to the Chadwick Beach section of Toms River, according the department spokeswoman Caryn Shinske.
