According to a national website called 24/7 Tempo, they recently published an article named The Best Donut Shop in Every State.

Out of all the donut shops across the State of New Jersey, the one popular spot which was voted the Best Donut Shop is located in Toms River.

Uncle Dood's located at 4 Robbins Street in Toms River to be exact. Uncle Dood's Donuts are all made to order, iced and topped. You'll never receive stale old doughnuts because they're made fresh all day. 

Every month, the menu varies. Any menu allows you to mix and match all icings and toppings to create your own unique combination. Every three months, they have a People's Choice Menu where the customers vote on the donuts they want to see on the menu again. 

They are open from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. At 1:30 pm, they finish frying their last batch of donuts. So it's 1:30 or 3:00 until they sell out. Whichever comes first is the winner. 

It is not uncommon to have a line for donuts on weekends and holidays. They close at 1:00 pm, therefore they may have to stop taking orders on occasion.
