May 12, 2022— The softball team from High School South defeated Southern 1-0 in the Ocean County Tournament championship game, giving the program its first championship since 1990.

The victory was made even more unbelievable by the fact that pitcher Janelle Blaszka (right) pitched a no-hitter, earning her the tournament MVP award. Girls, congratulations!
