Toms River High School East and the TRPD are hosting a Dodgeball Tournament on Friday, April 28. Door open at 5pm!
To collect money to construct a military-style ropes course at Toms River East, the Toms River East Military Support Club is holding a Dodgeball Tournament of Champions.
The competition is scheduled to take place at the RWJ Barnabas Health Arena on Old Freehold Road on
Friday, April 28.The event starts at 6 p.m., and doors open at 5 p.m. A spectator ticket costs $6 for everyone 12 or older and $3 for those under the age of 11, and players cost $15 each. There will be an option to buy food.
Double elimination is used in the competition.
Students who are considering military vocations receive assistance from the Toms River East Military Support Club. The organization started raising money for the ropes course in the spring of 2022, and the Toms River Education Foundation gave them a lift by donating $4,000 to the cause.
This is Toms River's second dodgeball competition. To raise money to support its Unity Tour riders in 2019, the Toms River PBA held a dodgeball competition at Toms River East.
