According to Toms River Schools, The National Down Syndrome Society's NYC Buddy Walk celebration took place in Times Square this past Saturday, and Charlotte Cohen of Intermediate South attended. She also took part in their special video presentation, which resulted in the display of her portrait for thousands of visitors and residents of NYC to see.

The Buddy Walk® has been the main Down syndrome advocacy event in the US since 1995.
