TOMS RIVER, NJ – The Toms River Veterans Committee and Mayor Daniel T. Rodrick are inviting residents, veterans, families, and community organizations to come together on November 11 for the annual Toms River Veterans Day Parade, a tradition dedicated to honoring the men and women who have proudly served in the United States Armed Forces.

The Veterans Day Parade is one of Toms River’s most meaningful community events, providing an opportunity for residents to show their appreciation for local veterans and reflect on the sacrifices made by members of the military throughout the nation’s history. The event is expected to draw veterans groups, local officials, community organizations, scouts, first responders, and supporters from across Ocean County.

Veterans Day is observed each year on November 11, commemorating the end of World War I and recognizing all U.S. military veterans who have served their country honorably. Communities nationwide hold ceremonies and parades, and Toms River’s annual salute has become a cherished local tradition.

Organizers encourage residents to line the parade route, wave American flags, and help create a memorable tribute for local veterans. Families are welcome to attend and show their support for the brave men and women who have defended the freedoms enjoyed by Americans every day.

“Our veterans have answered the call to serve our nation, and this parade is an opportunity for the community to thank them for their dedication and sacrifice,” organizers said.
