Robbery Alert: Cash Stolen and Windows Smashed

According to Toms River Police Department, they are investigating two thefts that happened at establishments on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River.

During the night of April 16 and 17, there was a robbery at Breakin Bread Eatery, which is located at 1177 Fischer Boulevard, and New York Water Bagel, which is located at 542 Fischer Boulevard.

Police said that the unidentified suspect or suspects stole a safe that held cash and used a brick to destroy the front glass of Breakin Bread.

Cash was taken from inside New York Water Bagel, and their front window was broken with a paver brick.

Breakin Bread Eatery posted pictures of the store's damaged entrance on social media.

Videos of the incident that were captured on security footage were later shared by them.

A man wearing black clothing can be seen breaking through the glass entrance, going inside the restaurant, and then walking out holding a safe.
