SOUTH TOMS RIVER, N.J. — The South Toms River Police Department announced early Friday morning that a previously reported missing juvenile has been located safe.

According to a public update posted at 06:00 on June 14, 2026, the department confirmed:

“Juvenile has been located safe and returned home. Thank you everyone for sharing and providing information!”

The teen, Aubrie Carchio, had been the subject of an Attempt to Locate alert issued earlier this week.

Original Police Alert (Now Resolved)

Authorities had been searching for Aubrie Carchio, a 13‑year‑old female, who was last seen on June 12, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m. in the area of Attison Avenue and Drake Lane in South Toms River.

She was last reported wearing:

• Crocs
• Pajama pants
• A black shirt

Police classified her as Missing / Endangered during the search effort.

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department had asked anyone with information to call (732) 349‑2010.
