Winter Storm Warning

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST FRIDAY...

According to Toms River Office of Emergency Management, a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Ocean County. Snow will be heavy at times. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches.

Portions of central and southern New Jersey will be affected. The snow will begin from 10 pm this evening to 10 am on Friday, January 7, 2022.

Please Use Extreme Caution When Driving. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.

Snowfall rates may exceed 1 inch per hour. The heaviest snow is expected to wind down west to east around sunrise Friday. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
