Young NJ Woman, 24, Dies in Fatal Jersey Shore Crash

WALL, NJ — Officials have released the name of the 24-year-old woman who died following a two-vehicle crash in Wall Township on Thursday.

Authorities identified the victim as Sarah H. Lee, 24, of Wall. The crash happened shortly before midnight at the intersection of State Highway 138 and New Bedford Road.

A fundraising campaign created to support Sarah’s sister, Allie, described Sarah as “truly a ray of sunshine” who brought “light, kindness, and joy to everyone she met.” Loved ones remembered her for the positive impact she had on those around her.

For Sarah’s sister, Allie, the tragedy is made even more painful by the fact that the siblings lost their mother six years ago. “With Sarah’s passing, Allie is now left without any immediate family,” Whedon said. “She is facing the heartbreaking reality of losing her sister while also handling the unexpected financial responsibilities that come with such a devastating loss.”

In addition to funeral expenses, Allie is also facing the costs associated with settling Sarah’s affairs, according to Whedon.

Sarah’s friends have created a fundraiser to support Allie and are asking the community to help during this difficult period.

“Any donation will help lessen the financial burden of funeral costs and provide support as Allie works through the challenges ahead,” Whedon said. “Your compassion and generosity can make a significant impact as Allie mourns the loss of her sister and begins to move forward.”

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing and involves the Wall Township Police Department, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Monmouth County SCART Team.
