16-Year-Old Student Killed by Train in Red Bank, NJ

According to Red Bank Police, Chief Michael Frazee stated that a 16-year-old student from Red Bank Regional High School had been identified as the victim of a fatal train crash on Wednesday morning.

The student was critically injured when a North Jersey Coast Line train impacted the Red Bank station at 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday, according to NJ Transit officials. The teen's name has not been made public.

According to Frazee, Red Bank Regional High School was informed of the occurrence and has a counselor on hand for both staff and students.
Red Bank Deputy Mayor Kate L. Triggiano lamented the student in an online post, mentioning the "countless people" who attended a funeral ceremony on Wednesday night.

According to a transportation representative, transit police are still investigating into the tragic death of this young man.
