WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ — A single-vehicle crash in Wall Township early Thursday morning claimed the life of an 18-year-old Brick resident, according to police.
The crash happened around 5:36 a.m. on August 13, 2026, when Wall Township emergency crews were called to Squankum Allenwood Road for a report of a vehicle that had left the roadway.
Responding personnel found a gray 2006 Honda Civic heavily damaged in a wooded area off the westbound side of the road.
The driver and only occupant, an
18-year-old man from Brick, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are withholding his name while his family is notified.
The South Wall Fire Department, Glendola Fire Department, Monmouth County EMS, Hackensack Paramedics and the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Wall Township Police Lt. Andrew Baldino and Ptl. Joshua Wheeler.
