

BODY FOUND AT FOX POINT STATE PARK IDENTIFIED AS MISSING SOUTH JERSEY MAN
WILMINGTON, DE — Authorities have confirmed that the body discovered at Fox Point State Park on April 24 has been identified as 27‑year‑old Lizandro Guizar Sartiaguin, a missing man from Hammonton, New Jersey.
Delaware State Police responded to the park around 6 p.m. after a visitor reported finding a decomposed body near Lighthouse Road. Investigators later confirmed the remains belonged to Sartiaguin, who had been missing since February 27, when he was last seen leaving his Hammonton residence.
Sartiaguin had not contacted family or friends since his disappearance, prompting multiple public alerts from Hammonton Police. His cause of death remains undetermined, and the investigation is ongoing.
