Nearly 100-Year-Old Dealership in Toms River Closes Doors

After serving the community for nearly a century, a longtime trailer dealership is preparing to close its doors and auction off its remaining inventory.

Hecht Trailers, founded in Toms River in 1928, has spent decades supplying customers with a wide selection of trailer brands and models. Michael Hecht has decided to retire. He added that the business has faced recent challenges, leading Hecht to put the property up for sale according to the Asbury Park Press.
An online liquidation auction has been launched for Hecht Trailers, where the dealership's remaining inventory is being offered for sale.
