The annual celebration, hosted by the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce, transforms Arnold and Bay Avenues into a bustling seaside marketplace filled with food, entertainment, and community spirit.

Now in its 48th year, the Festival of the Sea draws thousands of visitors eager to enjoy fresh seafood favorites—from crab cakes and lobster rolls to chowders, shrimp dishes, and an array of non‑seafood options prepared by some of the area’s best restaurants. The event also features hundreds of craft vendors, offering handmade goods, art, jewelry, décor, and unique one‑of‑a‑kind finds.
