Woman and Child Fall From Seaside Heights Sky Ride Another Child Rescued From 10 Feet in the Air
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — A woman and a child fell from the base of the Sky Ride Monday night in Seaside Heights, while another child was left alone on the ride approximately 10 feet above the ground, according to the Seaside Heights Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the incident and used a ladder to safely reach and rescue the child who remained on the ride.
The woman and children were taken to a local hospital for evaluation. They were checked out and reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the incident, including what caused the woman and child to fall from the ride, were not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
