Adam Sandler’s ‘Grown Ups 3’ Filming at N.J. Hotel, Actor Expected on Set

Hollywood has returned to New Jersey as Adam Sandler’s upcoming comedy “Grown Ups 3” is being filmed at a Morris County hotel.

Production for the highly anticipated sequel is underway at Rod’s Steak and Seafood inside The Madison Hotel in Morristown, according to a social media post from Morristownnj.com.

“According to the crew member, Adam Sandler is expected to be on-site during filming,” the post stated. Officials noted that residents and visitors in the area may notice production trucks, equipment and increased activity surrounding the hotel while filming continues.

“Grown Ups 3” will mark the third movie in the popular comedy franchise, which first debuted in 2010. The original film starred Sandler alongside Kevin James, David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider, and was followed by “Grown Ups 2” in 2013.

The returning cast is expected to reunite for the third installment, with Sandler, James, Spade, Rock and Schneider listed among the returning stars, according to IMDb. The film is expected to premiere on Netflix, though an official release date has not yet been announced.

The latest project adds to Sandler’s growing list of productions filmed in New Jersey. The actor previously brought “Happy Gilmore 2” to the Garden State in late 2024 and filmed “Roommates” in New Jersey during the summer of 2025.

Sandler has also become a familiar face around New Jersey in recent years, with fans spotting the comedian and actor at various locations throughout the state.

As filming continues, locals may get a glimpse of the production process as another major Hollywood project takes over a New Jersey location.
