According to reports, a fire destroyed a Toms River home on Monday.
The fire on Monroe Avenue, off Route 9, was reported at 7 a.m., according to The Lakewood Scoop. There were no injuries, according to the report.
According to the Ocean County Sheriff's Office, the fire caused traffic congestion on Route 9 (also known as Lakewood Road in that area of Toms River) and West Whitty Road.
