With the passing of our favorite golden girl, The Jersey Shore Girls Scouts have honored her with her very own patch.
BETTY WHITE - AMAZING WOMAN OF THE MONTH SERIES - JANUARY 2022 REGISTRATION
Stacy Petti and the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore designed the patch as part of their Amazing Women of the Month series. The Girl Scouts Betty White Patch Program appears to be both entertaining and motivating. Girl Scouts and non-members alike are asked to build a pretend TV, create their own game show, stand up for animals, and learn how to get along with others to commemorate the incredible life of the television legend.Join in honoring Betty White's extraordinary life. You'll learn what made Betty so revolutionary and why she should be remembered by completing this self-guided patch program. Hands-on activities will show students of all ages (even adults) what it's like to be a feminist, civil rights supporter, animal activist, outstanding performer, and all-around lovely person through hands-on activities. Betty had everything!
Then, on January 12 at 7 p.m. EST, join GSJS on Zoom for a Celebration of Life ceremony where you will learn more about her, share personal memories, play a mock game show, and light a candle in her honor. You will not need to log in to participate because the Zoom recording will be emailed to all participants. At the end of the month, patches will be mailed out. CLICK HERE to REGISTER
