The Brownstone Pancake Factory has been opened in Brick Township since Memorial Day. Owner Bobby Bournias said the restaurant, is famed for its outrageous pancakes, waffles, and "Ultimate Insane Milkshakes."The recipe for delicious buttermilk pancakes has been passed down in Bournias' family since his father established Brownstone Diner in Jersey City more than half a century ago. With the construction of the first Brownstone Pancake Factory in Edgewater in 2014, Bournias expanded the family business. In 2018, the Englewood Cliffs site was added.
From a nearly dozen-page menu, Brownstone Pancake Factory delivers breakfast all day, as well as large sandwiches, salads, fries, pasta, and more.
He explained, "We're not in the food industry; we're in the experience business." "We specialize on insane, over-the-top shakes and pancakes. We have music playing, so it's a good vibe. That's the kind of experience we're aiming for. It's not the kind of place where you go to get a stack of pancakes."-
