Carson Frazier (Age12), nephew of Todd Frazier, both have alot to be proud of.

Carson, 12, was on the mound putting the finishing touches on Toms River East Little League's 5 - 1 victory over Sunnybrae Little League. He threw a shutout, allowing only one hit, to advance to the state tournament. Watch it on Thursday in Cherry Hill.

The winner will then go on to the Mid-Atlantic Region in Bristol, Connecticut which is one stop from the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Carson is surely following the footsteps of his uncles. In 1995, Jeff Frazier represented Toms River East in the World Classic, where the team left with a 1-2 record.

In 1998, Todd Frazier and his team, also known as the “Beasts of the East”, defeated their rivals from Kashima, Japan, for the championship.

Baseball runs through their blood. Carson’s dad runs Frazier Baseball, a training center in Toms River where he has helped mold the swings of other local standouts as well.

According to the NY Post, Charlie Jr., said it came so natural for his son Carson when it came to playing baseball. “He saw older kids in the cage and he saw his Uncle Todd hitting in the cage. And he started to develop his swing.”

Two weeks ago, Carson, who has hit two homers this past season, represented the Northeast in the national Home Run Derby, flying to Kansas City, where he lost by just one.

Todd Frazier boarded a flight to Tokyo last Wednesday, where he’s representing the United States baseball team in the 2020 Olympics. His journey began as a kid who also played on the Toms River East American Little League All-Star team that won the New Jersey State Championship and then the US East Regional Championship, to advance to the 1998 Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

In Frazier's Professional Career, he played for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, New York Mets and the Texas Rangers. On June 9, 2021, Frazier signed with the Sussex County Miners of the Frontier League. In May 2021, Frazier played for the United States national baseball team in the Americas Qualifying Event. After the team qualified, he was named to the Olympics roster on July 2. He is hoping to bring home the Gold for Team USA! See the schedule below to root for Todd and the USA Team.

Congratulations & Good Luck to the Frazier Family
