Easter Weekend Weather Update: Rain and Spring-Like Temperatures in NJ

Forecasters predict that several rounds of rain that are scheduled to strike New Jersey will end in time for the Easter Bunny to arrive on Sunday.

Forecasters stated that the Garden State would see multiple rounds of rain, but they should end in time for Sunday's Easter Bunny appearance.

The National Weather Service predicts one to two inches of rainfall on Thursday along with temperatures around 47 degrees and wind gusts up to 11 mph.

Friday morning's lingering rains should pass, and the afternoon will be bright and close to 50 degrees, despite the feeling of around 20 degrees cooler temperatures due to wind gusts of up to 30 mph. On Friday night, the temperature will drop to roughly 32 degrees, but the wind speed will still be above 15 mph.

AccuWeather predicts that Saturday will be largely sunny and 50 degrees. The early part of the day will be dry, with a possibility of showers into Saturday evening.

The National Weather Service predicts a dry and sunny Easter Sunday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Residents in the Garden State are advised to take advantage of the dry, springlike weather while they can because stormy conditions are expected to return on Monday.
