Exciting Additions: Toms River Welcomes Two New Restaurants

Two New Restaurants in Toms River

The owners of two upcoming restaurants in Toms River already operate other eateries in the surrounding areas.

Brandi and Ricky Digiovanna, who also own Pies on Nine South in Lacey, will launch Pies on 37 in The Orchards in Dover in January.

The eatery, located at 1311 Route 37 West, takes the place of Joey D's Pizza and joins seven other eateries in the plaza: Turning Point, which debuted last year in a former Ruby Tuesday and Saladworks, Five Guys, Bubbakoo's Burritos, Fortune Buffet, Jersey Mike's, and Yo Factor frozen yogurt.

G's Cheesesteaks, formerly GKnows Cheesesteaks, will operate at 1611 Route 37 East after debuting in Point Pleasant Beach in May. The eatery will occupy the space left vacant by Philly Philly Steaks in July and is anticipated to launch in the following two weeks.

This is New Jersey's second G's Cheesesteaks restaurant. The first location was established in Staten Island in 2015 by owner Giacomo Pisano, who grew up working at his family's Pennsylvania pizza restaurant, The Pizza Spot.

G's Cheesesteaks is a New York and New Jersey-based cheesesteak shop with two brick-and-mortar locations as well as a food truck that travels to clients for private events and otherwise resides in NYC. Visit the Toms River Location!
