Forecasters predict that the storm threat will probably increase on Thursday and Friday as the temperature and humidity are predicted to rise.
On those two days, thunderstorms are predicted to be more common, and some of the storm cells may intensify with large hail, hazardous lightning, and brief, severe downpours.
Forecasters warned earlier today that flash flooding might happen in regions that are frequently impacted by storm cells and that isolated tornadoes could develop on Thursday and Friday.
However, the most recent predictions from the Storm Prediction Center and the National Weather Service indicate that there is no longer a chance of a tornado.
High humidity will cause regular air temperatures to rise into the low to mid-90s. Check the latest weather
