Todd M. Rector, 35, of Toms River, passed away on November 14, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Todd was born in Lakewood on May 27, 1988. Living most of his life in Toms River, he was a graduate of Toms River High School North Class of 2007.

Todd worked at Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Toms River for the past 16 years and took great pride in his work.

Todd was a huge sports fan. His favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers, Phillies, and the 76ers. He was a Nascar fan, as well, having gone to many races with his dad.

Todd was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his father, Tim, whom he missed terribly. Todd is survived by his mother, Debbie, and his sister, Dana, of Toms River. He is also survived by his uncle and godfather, John, his Aunt Toni, and his cousin, James, godmother Rosemarie Murray and her husband Peter Murray and their daughters Marissa and Amanda, and his best friend Kaity and her children, Allana, Bryson, and Aniyah, whom he considered his nieces and nephew.

He will be missed by many extended family members and friends in NJ, NY, MI, and FL, and by his two dogs, Maggie and Harley.
