In Toms River, a Motorcyclist Was Seriously Injured in a Parkway Crash
Jackson Man Seriously Injured
According to New Jersey State Police, a Jackson man was critically hurt on Saturday, June 4, 2022 after his motorbike crashed and collided with the back of a Ford Explorer on the Garden State Parkway.
According to Sgt. Philip Curry, Ronald McGinness Jr., 59, of Jackson, was hospitalized as a result of the crash.
McGinness was riding a Harley-Davidson in the southbound left lane of the Parkway behind a Ford Explorer around milemarker 81.4 in Toms River around 7:45 p.m. Saturday when the motorcycle overturned and collided with the back of the Explorer, according to Curry.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Curry said.
