Tom is a lifelong small business owner here in town and his family’s roots can be traced back to colonial times and the days of Joshua Huddy.
“I’ve been a Toms River resident my whole life. I’m proud to have grown up here with my seven siblings. I was educated through the Toms River school system and graduated from Toms River High School North in 1978.
I have always had a love of farming and have been running Silverton Farms with my wife and three sons for the past 35 years. I am actively involved in horticulture, play banjo in a bluegrass band, and love our Jersey Shore.
In the past, I served on the Ocean County Agricultural Development Board and was proud of the many farms we were able to preserve and save. I will be striving to do my best for our community. “
