Although Toms River East fell to Texas, 2-1, in an elimination game on Tuesday, these boys have made Toms River extremely proud.
This team represented Toms River with class. These boys played their hearts out, never gave up and did an amazing job representing Toms River East Little League, Toms River Township and the State of New Jersey.
The Jersey Boys hold the title
NEW JERSEY LITTLE LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
The Jersey Boys became the eighth Jersey Shore Little League to win the state title in the 12-year-old division since 2010 and Toms River East won its first state title since 1999. During the 1990s, Toms River East dominated New Jersey baseball winning state titles in 1995, 1998 and 1999.
