Weather To Watch in NJ

According to the National Weather Service, heavy rain and flooding are expected.

Cooler and windier weather on Sunday as fall moves in behind the rain, making it a pleasant way to close the weekend. When going apple picking on Sunday and Monday with highs in the 60s, be prepared for some soggy grass. Rain is likely to return Tuesday morning and may do so once more throughout the weekend.

Philippe may worsen what is already expected to be another gloomy weekend for residents of New Jersey. Although temperatures have been high, AccuWeather and the National Weather Service predict that by the end of the week, the area will have seen significantly cooler weather, with rain starting to form Friday night and continuing on Saturday when a strong cold front sweeps through.
