Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Being Ejected in Garden State Parkway Exit Ramp Crash

A 23-year-old man was seriously injured Wednesday after being thrown from his motorcycle during a crash on a Garden State Parkway exit ramp in Lakewood.

The crash occurred around 12:28 p.m. on the southbound Parkway at Exit 89B, according to the New Jersey State Police.

Authorities said the motorcyclist was traveling along the exit ramp toward Route 70 West when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail. The force of the collision ejected him from the motorcycle.

The Little Silver man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
