New Jersey Braces for Another Round of Rain and Wind This Weekend
Heavy rain, 60 mph winds again Friday
Forecasters are keeping an eye out for two more storm threats: more heavy rain and wind gusts up to 60 mph on Friday, and the possibility of snow or a wintry mix on Tuesday when temperatures drop over the weekend. Meanwhile, New Jersey is still dealing with flooding from Tuesday's severe rains.
According to the National Weather Service, moderate to heavy rain is predicted to arrive late Friday afternoon. This rain is likely to worsen or cause flooding around rivers and along the Jersey Shore. There's also a chance of mild to moderate coastal flooding.
There might be wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph inland and 50 to 60 mph at the Jersey Shore. Friday's highs will be in the 40s.

Friday - Increasing clouds, with a high near 46. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Friday Night - Rain before 1am, then rain and possibly a thunderstorm between 1am and 4am, then rain after 4am. Temperature rising to around 54 by 4am. Windy, with a southeast wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 25 to 30 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Saturday - A slight chance of rain before 10am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Breezy, with a west wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Breezy.
